Viola Systems Routers for Relay Protection equipment monitoring

AEDILIS presents new solution - Relay protection equipment via mobile operator network monitoring. In this solution we used Viola Systems modem Arctic 3G Gateway, and it's RS485 port was preconfigured as a Virtual COM port in a central controlling PC. A very usefull and freeware software that can be used for configuring virtual COM ports is VSPM. In this test we have used Siemens relay Siprotec 7SJ6XX connected via RS485 interface. This way a special monitoring/configuring software DIGSI can "see" all the relays from a central management PC like all the relays would be connected directly.
