If you want to configure a device with RS232/422/485 interface it's not necessary to have a COM port on your PC or a device connected directly. You can use a virtual COM port working through Ethernet Network. Such virtual COM port you can establish by using Korenix converter JETPORT 5601 wich can transmit RS232/422/485 data via both copper and fiber.
Model with multi-mode fiber interface can extend your RS232/422/485 interface till 2km (JETPORT5601F-M), and with single-mode - till 30km (JETPORT5601F-S).
JETPORT 5601 is adapted to work in a temperature range from -10° to +70°C, and can be powered from both 12÷48VDC and 9÷30VDC by using a special adapter included in a package. For more comfortable and faster installation a DIN rail mounting kit is also included.
